Homes and Special Places: Painting the Places That Hold Your Story

Homes and Special Places: Painting the Places That Hold Your Story

Some places matter more than others. The home you first shared. The venue where you got married. The house that's quietly held years of ordinary, unrepeatable days.

The Homes & Special Places commissions came from a simple idea: a place like that deserves to be more than a photo you rarely look at again.

What It Actually Is

Each piece is painted by hand, from your own photographs, of a place that means something to you. Not a print or a template - a beautiful painting, made to be hung or placed somewhere you'll see it every day.

The Kinds of Places People Choose

  • A new home - often commissioned soon after moving house, or given as a gift by someone who knows exactly what that first home means.
  • A wedding venue - a lasting keepsake once the flowers and photos have been put away.
  • A family home - for parents downsizing, or children who grew up there.
  • A gift for someone hard to buy for - a house-warming, an anniversary, a retirement. A commission is a great gift for someone who is sentimental.

How It Works

It starts with a conversation with Jessica. Send over a few photographs of the place, along with any date it needs to be ready for, like a wedding anniversary. From there, Jessica paints it, mounts it, and frames it - ready to hang.

Because each piece is made individually, it's worth getting in touch with plenty of time to spare. Do share any special details about the location too, such as a vibrant front door colour or unique markings on the walls.

Pricing

Commissions start from £220.00 for an A4-sized painting (210 x 297mm), mounted and framed under glass. Larger sizes are available on request.
